1. Two kinds of fee, two different answers
Every order separates government fees from ANAFRA service fees, and the distinction decides what can be refunded. Government fees are collected on your behalf and paid to a state authority or to the IRS. Once a filing has been submitted, that money is gone and no longer ours to return.
ANAFRA service fees pay for our work. They can be refunded in proportion to the work not yet done.
2. Before we file
If you cancel before we have submitted anything to a state authority, we refund the ANAFRA service fee in full, and the government fee if it has not yet been paid out. Write to us from the address on your account and tell us the order reference.
3. After we file
Once a filing has been submitted, government fees are not refundable, and ANAFRA service fees are refundable only to the extent of the services not yet performed. Where a filing is rejected by the state for a reason attributable to us, an error in the documents we prepared, we correct and resubmit at our own cost.
Where a filing is rejected for a reason attributable to the information you provided, including a company name that is unavailable, the state fee is generally consumed. We will tell you what the state requires and what a resubmission costs before doing anything.
4. Subscriptions
Recurring services can be cancelled at any time and stop at the end of the paid period. We do not refund a period in progress, because the service, a registered agent standing ready to receive service of process, an address receiving your mail, has been provided throughout it.
5. Verification failures
If we cannot complete identity verification and therefore decline to proceed, we refund the ANAFRA service fee for work not performed. Government fees already paid out are not recoverable.
6. How to request a refund
Contact us from the email address on your account, quoting the order reference. We answer within five business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; the time it then takes to appear depends on your bank.
